We’ve now crossed the midpoint of Bitch X Rich 2, and things are getting intense. I’m still very confused with the Hae-In plotline, specifically the bits around Hye-In, but it looks like the latter is not going to sit quietly any longer, which I appreciate. The show is your typical blur of school kid class dynamics, drugs, and sex. Oh, how could I forget the bullying, which is the main subject here? But Bitch X Rich 2 pins the two poor girls of the show against each other for no apparent reason. In yesterday’s episode, I talked about how I get that it’s a systemic problem, but even so, Hae-In’s obsession with the Diamond 6 is getting quite out of hand, and she’s just back from the hospital, but she’s dying to work her way into the inner circle. I don’t know how much I buy it. And what about her parents? Shouldn’t they be more concerned about her in general? But I digress. With all that said, let’s jump into everything that happens in episode 6.

Who Killed Oh Si-Eun?
Episode 6 begins with Jin-Wook and Yul-Hee at a club where Woo-Jin is sharing drugs with a random woman. I don’t know who is meant to be jealous here, but do any of these people actually care? Some random boys are eager to get with Yul-Hee, but Jin-Wook acts like a gentleman. I’m not able to understand his deal, to be honest. Meanwhile, Hye-In and Sun-Joo show up at the club to find out about Sa-Rang and what he’s up to. At first, Sun-Joo tries to get them in with just her charm. It doesn’t work in her favor. But then Hye-In pulls out her Diamond 6 card (literally), and they’re let inside instantly. As she’s entering, she notices Jin-Wook and Yul-Hee together and tells Sun-Joo about it. Sun-Joo tells her that if he were her boyfriend, she’d kill the guy. Woo-Jin also spots them leaving the club, and I wonder if it makes any difference to him.
Sa-Rang shows up at the club with Si-Eun’s phone and is surprised to find out that it was Hye-In who sent him the message. But before they can talk, somebody steals Sa-Rang’s bag and makes a run for it. This person, as you’d imagine, is Woo-Jin. Meanwhile, Je-Na gets the information she needs to prove that her dad is not the father of the kid in Min-Hee’s womb. But we don’t know yet when she’s going to use this information. However, Sa-Rang and Hye-In both crash into her while chasing after the burglar. By daybreak, Sa-Rang and Hye-In give up. Sa-Rang tells her that his brother, So-Mang, went to the rooftop that night. Turns out So-Mang saw Si-Eun talking to someone before getting pushed off the roof but somehow kept it to himself? What he doesn’t know is that there’s a video on Si-Eun’s phone of Woo-Jin fighting with her before she fell off. This is why Woo-Jin stole the phone from Sa-Rang (and Sa-Rang probably had it because of So-Mang?). Sa-Rang just wanted to delete Hye-In’s video but couldn’t do it, and now they don’t know who has the phone. Sun-Joo manages to get the CCTV footage of the club from the bouncer from earlier, and Hye-In notices that Woo-Jin was at the club too. This clearly proves that he’s the culprit, but Hye-In is distracted by the fact that Sa-Rang’s hurt. Meanwhile, Woo-Jin deletes the video of himself pushing Si-Eun, but he also finds Hye-In’s video in the gallery.
Is Je-Na Taking Drugs For Real?
The next morning, it becomes news that Je-Na is taking drugs. Min-Hee makes it very obvious that she’s the one who gave the information to the tabloids, but what Je-Na doesn’t know is that she’s teamed up with Yul-Hee, and they’ve got some big plans to ruin Je-Na completely. Meanwhile, Woo-Jin apologizes to Yul-Hee again and shows her that he’s got a video of Hye-In stripping down on camera. This is something that excites her because it could be used for revenge. So, instead of deleting the video of her boyfriend having sex with Hae-In, Yul-Hee decides to use it as blackmail against Hae-In. Which means she’s not working with Hae-In; she’s simply using her in her own revenge plans. Yul-Hee tells Hae-In to plant medication in Je-Na’s locker, and she has no choice but to do it because of the video. Do-Eun shows up soon after, and Hae-In tells him that his arrogance annoyed her the most because he was a part of Diamond 6 but never cared about how important it was. But it’s unclear if they have some plan together to help her get in. I do know that Do-Eun genuinely cares for her.
At the Diamond 6 lounge, Yul-Hee calls out Je-Na for doing drugs and putting the reputation of Diamond 6 on the line. She also talks about how it affects Jin-Wook as her fiancé, but Jin-Wook sides with Je-Na. Interestingly, Woo-Jin tries to start a fight with Jin-Wook for taking Yul-Hee out, but like, why? Also, can I just say these two make a cute couple? I know you’re all thinking it, especially with how Woo-Jin throws Jin-Wook up against the wall. Later, Yul-Hee claims that their classmates are suggesting that they saw Je-Na stow meds in her locker. She creates a ruckus and tells Je-Na to prove everyone wrong by opening the locker and showing them it’s clean. Woo-Jin opens it, and we can see a scar on his wrist. I wonder if Hye-In noticed. There’s nothing there at first, and Hye-In even tells Yul-Hee to stop making a fuss, but Woo-Jin finds the bottle on the floor.
At the end of episode 6, Je-Na is forced to do a drug test, which apparently the Chairman has agreed to as well. Min-Hee switched out Je-Na’s tablets, so obviously the results are positive. On the other hand, Hye-In calls out Yul-Hee for knowing how things would pan out even before they happened, essentially proving in front of everybody that Yul-Hee clearly set Je-Na up. She even tells her that Woo-Jin’s the one doing drugs at clubs with random girls, at which Woo-Jin gets angry, but Do-Eun holds him back. Now that Je-Na’s drug tests are positive, she’s probably going to use the DNA test to get out of this situation. I’m honestly very confused about Jin-Wook as a character, though. Is he actually on Je-Na’s side or not? I really can’t tell. What do you think?
