Netflix’s He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is a reboot directed towards kids. It shows Prince Adam as a young boy and his friends who are also of the same age. Skeletor arrives, a war takes place and Season 1 ends in him taking over the kingship of Eternos. Keeping this in mind, here’s what we can expect in Season 2.

The Weapons that Aren’t
Skeletor broke Adam’s sword into two. However, Duncan forged it back using Kirbinite. Here, we must remember that Skeletor can tap into the Kirbinite metal. This makes Adam and his friends vulnerable to Skeletor as he might be able to control them. This will allow him to even brainwash them, just like he did the royal guards and General Dalos.
Grayskull in Space
To avoid the attack on Grayskull, Adam suggests the Sorceress to teleport Grayskull to a different place. Due to her weakened state, Sorceress can do it but without knowing where Grayskull would turn up. So it seems that Grayskull’s new location is yet unknown. Season 2 of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe can deal with Adam and his friends trying to bring back Grayskull to its rightful place in Eternia.
Also, there is another suggestion. We do not know where Grayskull is at the moment. It can be in a different dimension or even teleport it to Eternia’s past. In the latter scenario, we can expect to see Grayskull himself, i.e., Adam’s ancestor and the first one to wield the sword’s power.
The New Ruler of Eternos
With all of Eternia’s resources at his disposal, Skeletor can easily use Kirbinite metal and use his Havoc magic to grow stronger. With stronger armor, more potent weapons, and a stronger army, he will have it all. Moreover, Havoc’s connection with Kirbinite will enable him to enslave more people of Eternia with much more ease. So Season 2 might be the debut of characters like Tri-Clops, Mer-Man, and other evil characters.
However, we must remember that King Randor is in Eternia, assisted by Teela and Ork-O the Great. So, they might be able to use their sorcery to pull people out of Havoc’s influence and form a rebellion. They can also bring in the Tiger Tribe. So we can have Strider, Meckaneck, and Fisto in Season 2.
‘He-Man and the Masters of the Universe’ Season 1 is a Prologue
Frankly speaking, the war will now begin, i.e., in Season 2. Season 1 was a prologue that introduced to us all the characters and told us what He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is all about. We will definitely have more characters, more action, more fun, and more “I have the power!“
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is a 2021 Animated Series developed by Rob David. Season 1 is streaming on Netflix.
