“Christmas with you” is the typical Netflix feel-good Christmas film that is best watched without a thought. Angelina, a pop star, is on the lookout for inspiration. She has been a popular name for years and is gradually losing her creative side. Meanwhile, fifteen-year-old Christina, who admired Angelina, covered one of her songs and uploaded it on social media. As luck would have it, Angelina watched her video, and she felt a connection with the little girl. Christina mentioned in the video that she hoped to meet Angelina someday, so Angelina decided to make her dream come true and wished that the little detour would help her come up with the Christmas song that her record producer, Barry, pestered her for. Visiting Christina and her father, Miguel, turned out to be the best Christmas surprise for Angelina.

It was a do-or-die situation, and Angelina believed that she could only connect with her creative side when she stepped out of her usual routine. Even though her assistant, Monique, did not think meeting fans individually was a great idea, Angelina believed that she needed to connect with her fans now more than ever. After hunting for Christina’s location, Angelina turned up at her high school. Christina and Miguel (who was the music teacher at the same high school) were called to the principal’s room. Christina was delighted by surprise and struggled to hide her excitement. Angelina clicked a selfie with Christina since that was what she requested in the video. Just as Angelina and Monique were about to leave, a snowstorm delayed their plan. Miguel and Christina invited them to their house for dinner, and Angelina happily accepted their offer.
Angelina noticed a song that Miguel was composing and was intrigued by it. She tried adding melody to the lyrics and expressed that the song had potential. Through the process of writing a new song, Angelina gradually realized what had been missing all along. While Monique noticed the spark between the songwriters, Angelina established that it was a strictly professional relationship. Meanwhile, Ricardo (Angelina’s boyfriend) came across a picture of her with Christina and Miguel. As Miguel and Angelina were growing closer to each other, Ricardo interrupted them with his surprise visit. He tried to belittle Miguel, but Angelina stopped him and established that she was collaborating with him and did not wish to hear a word against him. But she did not feel confident enough to break up with Ricardo; perhaps she believed that it would crush him and ruin their image, so she could not make herself do it.
Miguel and Christina attended the gala that Angelina had invited them to. Barry tried to pit Angelina against an emerging pop star, Cheri, by mentioning how Cheri would be playing at Saturday Night Live during the Christmas Special week.
