Love, Guaranteed is a romantic comedy film directed by Mark Steven Johnson. The story revolves around a lawsuit against a dating app – Love Guaranteed. The movie stars Rachael Leigh Cook and Damon Wayans Jr. in the lead roles.
Nick Evans, a charming gentleman, sues the online dating app (Love, Guaranteed) because of their false promises of guaranteeing true love with utmost 1000 dates. For the lawsuit, he approaches Susan Whitaker, an uptight attorney, with a strong sense of justice. Nick has been on 986 dates and hasn’t found true love yet which he considers “fraud”.

He names each of these women like they are episodes of friends, “the one who talked about cats, the one who brought her parents” and many more which made Susan judge Nick a little, and they didn’t get off well in the start as she addresses him as “obnoxious, gross hot only to certain desperate kind of women, who is not me, still perspective client”.
The target of the lawsuit, Tamara Taylor, wealthy owner of the Love Guaranteed app, tries to reach a settlement by paying them off, but the duo are insistent on carrying the company to the court. Susan works for making a case for Nick, even registering for the app herself and going on two and a half weird dates.
Along the case, Nick and Susan end up having dinner and – surprise! – it’s a date. They fall for each other, but none of them confesses, in the fear of dismissal of the lawsuit. While Nick didn’t find Susan on the dating app, he sure found her because of it, which clearly was what the company promised.

Love,Guaranteed guarantees some amazing performances from Rachael as Susan, a reserved girl who fights for, what is right and who actually needs help. Her loneliness is clearly depicted when she gets home in her apartment and eats take-out from a nearby Chinese outlet alone while her sister lives next door with her family celebrating life.
Damon as Nick is portrayed as a charming guy from the start, although it was hard to believe when he says he’s been on 986 dates. He works in a rehab center, is honest and wants to find true love.

Susan is accompanied by her two amusing yet hard-working co-workers, Roberto(Sean Amsing) and Denise (Lisa Durupt). Both of them are equally adorable, and will surely make you laugh all the way along.
Although, Love Guaranteed is a normal romantic comedy flick, it will surely make you smile all the way through, with its beautiful setting and warm premise. The reference to Friends show will make any Friends fan’s heart jump out, with the women titled based on the title of the show’s episodes, with Susan being “the one he didn’t see coming”!
